Brookes Clock Restoration

John Brookes has been restoring dials since 1970, lthough before this he trained as an artist in fine art painting and illustration.

In 2000 the families youngest son, Gregory began restoring clocks with his father John.

Counting all typs of dials mainly long case and fusee and the occasional church clock, over 12,000 dials have been restored.

Predominantly they have, worked for the clock trade with customers not only in the UK but from America, Ireland and the Far East.

Work can be as simple as cleaning and re-lettering, to full restoration and in extreme cases sympathetic complete re-paints.
